Hands-on experience and coaching for educators

Our trainings offer you the opportunity to observe the direct use of several evidence-based practices with autistic individuals of varying ages and functioning levels. You will also practice using the strategies learned with direct and immediate feedback from HANDS trainers. Practical tools and best practices are taught in an integrated, comprehensive manner that considers educational, functional, and behavioral programming for students with autism as well as many other developmental disabilities.

While some of our programs may include traditional instructional methods such as lectures and discussion, the emphasis is building increased knowledge and skill of the process of making and supporting appropriate programming decisions.

Who do we work with?

We hold trainings and provide tools for a range of school personnel, community service providers, administrators, and other preK-12 professionals who work with students with autism and related disabilities in school and community settings.
