Behavioral Health Suspension Expulsion Coalition
The HANDS in Autism® Center at Indiana University School of Medicine and Riley Children’s Health has partnered with the Indiana Department of Education to pilot and develop a coalition framework addressing factors contributing to behavioral health often leading to suspensions and expulsions. These factors are determined and informed by coalition partners specific and individualized to their buildings, districts and corporations.
This collaboration aims to create individualized, sustainable implementation plans for improving student outcomes that can be accessed, informed, and used ongoing by all districts in building the capacity of our schools to make Indiana a national model for behavioral health.
