HANDS-inspired trainings in Singapore

The seeds of partnership between HANDS in Autism® and the Singapore Adult Autism Center (SAAC) began at their first meeting at the Autism Society of America conference in 2014. Two years later, HANDS representatives visited SAAC for a needs assessment and tour, and the two organizations have grown their partnership together online and in-person since.

Goals and milestones of the collaboration

  • The staff of SAAC completed all site and training requirements for certification and licensure eligibility as a HANDS in Autism®-inspired training site
  • SAAC has developed a HANDS-inspired™ training curriculum and serves as a training hub and demonstration site for the HANDS model and practices
  • HANDS has provided continued mentoring of trainers and leadership at SAAC through online/remote consultations
