The Society for Implementation Research Collaboration (SIRC) aims to help implementation research teams, researchers, and community providers collaborate and work together more effectively.
As longstanding SIRC and Network of Expertise members, HANDS in Autism® has served as the SIRC City Ambassador for Indianapolis/Indiana and hosted SIRC city events.
The work of our HANDS center is guided by principles supported by SIRC leaders and shared among NoE members. These principles shape our focus on implementation science, including understanding the key factors that influence both immediate and long-term outcomes of our services, training, outreach, and facilitation efforts.
With an effort to stay most engaged and aligned with key implementation science efforts and leading research, HANDS readily supports and is invited to support SIRC:
- HANDS was invited to present on their unique coordinated care continuum serving significantly impacted autistic and dual diagnosis transition-aged youth during the Implementation Development Workshops
- HANDS serves as reviewers for biennial conference submissions
