Ryan Steiner is an autistic stay-at-home dad, or "Dadvocate," to his beautiful daughter Kala, who is also autistic and a wheelchair user. He is a proud husband and garden buddy to his wife Amanda. A tenacious endurance athlete, Ryan channels his determination into wheelchair racing, finding strength and resilience through these passions.
As a wheelchair user and enthusiast, Ryan is also a dedicated disability activist and advocate. In 2024, he was honored with the prestigious Darkus Nems Self-Advocate of the Year award for his tireless efforts to raise awareness and create positive change.
A trauma survivor, Ryan’s journey has shaped him into a compassionate friend and ally to many. Through his art, he shares his experiences and perspectives, aiming to inspire others and foster a deeper understanding of the autistic community.
