HANDS in Autism® is partnering with the Indiana Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) and the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) to develop communication boards that support effective interactions when verbal communication may be challenging.

- Interviews and information gathering
- Requests for compliance or identification
- Medical or safety-related questions
- Situations involving heightened stress, confusion, or sensory sensitivity
