Tabitha Zeigler is a dynamic humanist, autism advocate, and community leader who elevates conversations around neurodiversity and disability rights. Through her work, she brings a powerful blend of lived experience, advocacy, and global perspective to the forefront of service innovation.
As the host of Staring Down the Storm: Autism Advocacy in America, Tabitha amplifies the voices of those working in the trenches—driving inclusive support, accessibility, and systemic change for autistic individuals and their families. Her advocacy spans organizing, writing, and public speaking, grounded in a passion for storytelling, connection, and meaningful community engagement.
Her commitment to addressing service gaps, creating effective information exchange pathways, and leveraging shared resources aligns strongly with the goals of the Indiana Comprehensive State Plan for Individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and Other Developmental Disabilities. These contributions embody the spirit and purpose of the DISI Award.
