Explore Our March Group Programming Lineup

Hands in Autism® – March Schedule 

We are excited to share our March 2026 program lineup! This month features multi-day workshops, small group sessions, and community connection opportunities focused on social-emotional growth, self-advocacy, adaptive sports, and trying new experiences. 

Below is a snapshot of what’s happening this month. 

🗓 Multi-Day Series 

🎯 Canvas Quest 

Fridays | 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM 

  • March 2 – Day 1 
  • March 4 – Day 2 
  • March 6 – Day 3 

A creative, hands-on series designed to build skills through engaging activities and collaborative exploration. 

 

🧠 Building a Stronger & Happier Mind 

Tuesdays & Wednesdays | 4:00 – 5:00 PM (Tues) | 1:00 – 2:00 PM (Wed) 

  • March 3 & 4 – Recognize Emotions 
  • March 10 & 11 – Self-Control 
  • March 17 & 18 – Anger and Worry 
  • March 24 & 25 – Triggers 
  • March 31 – Review 

This structured series supports emotional awareness, coping skills, and confidence-building in a supportive environment. 

 

⭐ Self-Advocacy Series 

Mondays & Wednesdays | 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM 

  • March 9 – Identifying Likes/Dislikes: Personal 
  • March 11 – Identifying Likes/Dislikes: School 
  • March 16 – What is Self Advocacy? 
  • March 18 – Self Advocacy Action Plan 
  • March 20 – Making the Call 

Participants will learn practical strategies to communicate needs, preferences, and goals across different settings. 

🏅 Adaptive Sports 

Thursdays & Fridays | 4:00 – 5:00 PM (Thurs) | 1:00 – 2:00 PM (Fri) 

  • March 5 & 6 – What Are Adaptive Sports? 
  • March 12 & 13 – Outdoors 
  • March 19 & 20 – Indoors 
  • March 26 & 27 – Review 

Designed to introduce and practice adaptive sports skills in inclusive, engaging formats. 

🌍 Community Connections: Trying Something New 

Fridays | 3:30 – 4:30 PM 

  • March 6 – Hobbies 
  • March 13 – Food 
  • March 20 – Experiences/Events 
  • March 27 – Community Involvement 

Encouraging participants to explore new interests, environments, and social opportunities.

Focused time for planning, goal-setting, and discussing individual growth pathways.
