Last month, in celebration of Autism Awareness Month, HANDS in Autism® hosted its 16th Annual Art Exposition—highlighting creativity, expression, and community in a truly powerful way. From the artwork to the stories and perspectives shared, each piece contributed to a vibrant and meaningful experience. The space came alive through the unique voices of every artist, beautifully reflecting this year’s theme, “Art of the Mind.”
The exhibition was held at the Indiana Memorial Union in Bloomington on April 24 and 27, and at Riley Children’s Health in Indianapolis on April 28. The event was thoughtfully led by interns from Independence Academy, whose efforts helped bring this impactful showcase to life.
Thank you to everyone who attended, supported, and contributed to making this event a success. We are proud to celebrate these incredible artists and the stories they shared.
