Getting Started
1. Explore Programs
Identify services that align with your needs and goals.
- Get Referred & Register
- Obtain a referral from a community professional (medical provider, school team, therapist, etc.)
- For Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) services:
- Request your VR counselor to complete the VR Referral Form

A HANDS team member will contact you to:
- Review service options

- Discuss funding and payment options
- Complete the Intake Meeting
A HANDS trainer will schedule an intake meeting to determine:

- Sign a Media Consent Form
- Complete a Background Questionnaire
- Set Up an IU Guest Account via Canvas
Canvas is used to access materials and communication tools.

Zoom may be used for virtual sessions and communication.
